The Criminal Court also ordered the seizure of an apartment and a parking space at FW Residence after finding Mamdhooh guilty of money laundering.

Mamdhooh was taken into police custody ahead of his sentencing hearing after failing to attend a scheduled court appearance. Police said he was arrested at the request of the Criminal Court after he did not appear for a hearing listed for Thursday.

Prosecutors had filed more than 100 charges against Mamdhooh, alleging that he embezzled money from numerous individuals under the pretext of selling flats in the K-Park Residences development.

According to court proceedings, Mamdhooh requested the cancellation of the hearing. However, presiding judge Ali Nadheem ruled that the trial would proceed as scheduled and ordered that Mamdhooh be held in custody until the conclusion of the case.

In the same case, co-accused Jaishan Saeed was found guilty on 89 charges. Both defendants are scheduled to be sentenced on December 30.
