Maldives Expresses Support for Peace and Stability Efforts in Yemen

The Government of Maldives has expressed full support for efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in Yemen.

In a statement released yesterday, the government welcomed initiatives by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to de-escalate the situation in Yemen and its commitment to measures intended to ensure the return of security and stability to liberated areas.

The government also called on all Yemeni parties to respond positively to these efforts and to engage constructively, with the aim of realising the aspirations of the Yemeni people for development, prosperity, and a stable and peaceful Yemen.
