Social Ministry Invites Bids for Children’s State Care Facility Food Supply
State Care Children’s facility “Fiyavathi” at Hulhumale.
The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSFD) has issued a public invitation for bids to supply all food items required for “Fiyavathi”, a children’s state care facility operated under the Ministry, for a period of one year.
According to the official gazette announcement, parties interested in participating must register online via the Ministry’s e-portal by 2 pm this Wednesday. Following registration, applicants will receive an announcement number and must submit a completed form with full company and individual details to finalise their eligibility.

The Ministry emphasised that only registered parties will be eligible to submit financial proposals, and incomplete submissions or proposals missing required documentation may be rejected. Inquiries regarding the bid are to be sent to bid@msfd.gov.mv before 2 pm 18 January.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Ministry this Thursday, at 1 pm, while all financial proposals must be submitted by 10 am on 26 January. The Ministry encouraged interested suppliers to adhere strictly to the registration and submission deadlines to ensure consideration.
