Ooredoo Enhances Fitr Zakat Payment Experience Through m-Faisaa

Ooredoo Maldives has introduced an easy and secure way for customers to pay their Fitr Zakat digitally through its m-Faisaa platform during Ramadan.

The company said the service enables users to fulfil their Zakat obligations from the comfort of their homes through a simple online process, enhancing convenience and security for religious payments.

Customers can pay Fitr Zakat by logging into m-Faisaa via the link provided, selecting the type and amount of Zakat, entering their personal details, choosing m-Faisaa as the payment method and providing their wallet number. Users must then verify the transaction through a one-time password (OTP) to confirm payment.

Ooredoo Maldives said the initiative supports its broader vision of building a “Digital Maldives” by expanding access to essential financial services through digital platforms.

The m-Faisaa digital wallet already provides services including money transfers, utility bill payments and merchant transactions. The company said the platform reinforces its role as a secure and trusted payment solution for customers across the country.

Customers can access the service through the dedicated Zakat portal or by downloading the m-Faisaa application.
