Man Reported Missing in Kulhudhuffushi Found Dead Underwater; Police Investigation Ongoing 

A 59-year-old man reported missing in Kulhudhuffushi City today has been confirmed dead after being discovered underwater during a police search operation.

According to police, the case was filed at approximately 13:48 this afternoon, prompting an immediate search. The man was located underwater at Bodavakiwaa Beach around 15:00 and was swiftly transported to Kulhudhuffushi City Regional Hospital, according to the police. 

In an update issued at 5:02 p.m., the hospital confirmed that the individual had passed away, police said. 

The deceased has been identified as Sulaiman Hussain, a resident of Badifasgandu in Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi.

Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
