Complaints on Housing Applications Close on May 20, Ministry Reminds Public

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development has reminded citizens that the deadline for submitting complaints regarding application forms under the government’s “Housing for All” policy is set for 20 May 2026.
In a post, the ministry said complaints will not be accepted after the deadline through the Housing Portal or via its email hotline@infrastructure.gov.mv, which will also be closed for submissions.
The ministry also noted that the deadline for applications under the “Aailee Boahiyaavehikan” scheme is 31 May.

Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Dr Abdulla Muththalib previously stated that 20,000 applications have been submitted for the government’s first housing project, while a further 17,000 forms remain in the application process.
The opportunity to apply for land plots and flats under the first housing project will also close at the end of this month.
