Authorities Search for Man Ordered to Appear Before Civil Court

Authorities are searching for a 44-year-old man who failed to appear before the Civil Court in connection with an ongoing case.

According to the Police, the search follows a court order directing officers to locate and bring the individual to court under custody on 8 June 2026.

The individual has been identified as Ismail Moosa, 44, of Irudheemaage, Th. Thimarafushi.

The Maldives Police Service stated that the order was issued after Ismail Moosa did not attend court proceedings as required.

Efforts are ongoing to locate him and comply with the court’s directive.
