Police Conduct Graffiti Removal Operations Across Malé City

The Maldives police service and the Malé City Council have begun removing graffiti deemed to violate social standards from several locations across Malé City.

The operation was conducted yesterday through a joint initiative between the Gang Crime Suppression Department and the Malé City Council.

According to the police, officers removed drawings and writings from various areas of Malé as well as the Sinamalé Bridge during the operation.

The police stated that similar operations will continue in collaboration with the Malé City Council to remove graffiti and other writings from additional locations across the city.

Making Malé City a peaceful and safe place remains a priority, according to the police, who noted that multiple efforts are currently underway to support that objective.
