President Meets Maldives Police Service Executive Management Board

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the Executive Management Board of the Maldives Police Service yesterday at the Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, according to the statement released by the police.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of Homeland Security, Labour, and Technology, Ali Ihusaan; the commissioner of police, Ahmed Mohamed; and members of the Police Service Executive Management Board.

According to the police, discussions focused on improving the quality of police services, strengthening institutional administration, and advancing the organisation’s strategic objectives.

The police stated that President Muizzu highlighted the importance of maintaining the police service as a model institution that prioritises the needs and concerns of the public.

The president also noted that police services have now expanded across the Maldives and underscored the executive management board’s role in strengthening the institution’s administrative management, as stated by the police.

The Commissioner of Police and members of the Executive Management Board reaffirmed their commitment to achieving strategic goals, strengthening public trust, and maintaining peace and security across the Maldives.

The police stated that board members assured the president of their continued dedication to enhancing the institution and delivering effective policing services to the public.
