Hulhumalé Hospital has launched outpatient nursing services, introducing a range of basic medical procedures aimed at improving access to commonly required healthcare services.
The service was inaugurated yesterday by Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, Chief Executive Officer of the Malé City Group of Hospitals, during a ceremony held at Hulhumalé Hospital.
According to the hospital, the new service has been introduced to provide patients with quick and convenient access to essential nursing care alongside doctor consultations.
Through the outpatient nursing unit, patients can now access services including nebulisation, fetal heart rate monitoring, blood sugar testing, blood collection and donation services, injections, and wound dressings.
The service will operate daily from 8am to 11pm.
Hulhumalé Hospital said the initiative is part of its wider goal to improve public access to healthcare services and to provide care that is responsive, compassionate, and of high quality.
