Dhiraagu Hands Over Final Speedboat to Lucky Winner

Dhiraagu has handed over the second and final speedboat to the winner of its ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion, marking the conclusion of the nationwide campaign.

During a ceremony held at the Al Shaali Marine boatyard, the company presented an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 sports speedboat, powered by a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine, to Mohamed Yoosuf of K. Malé. Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed officially handed over the grand prize.

Speaking after receiving the prize, Yoosuf described learning that he had won as a joyful and memorable moment for both him and his family. He said he has been a Dhiraagu customer since the early days of the company’s fixed-line telephone service and has used Dhiraagu Mobile for the past 28 years. He also expressed gratitude to the company for giving customers the opportunity to win valuable prizes.

The promotion, which launched in August 2025, gave eligible new and existing Dhiraagu Prepaid, Postpaid and Fibre Broadband customers the chance to win one of two sports speedboats. According to the company, the campaign received strong participation from customers across the Maldives and generated widespread excitement throughout its duration.

Customers who met the qualifying criteria and enrolled before 31 March 2026 were automatically entered into the lucky draw. Earlier this year, Abdulla Saeed was announced as the winner of the first speedboat.
