Zareer described the planned housing project as an important measure for the welfare and benefit of MCS personnel. However, the government has not yet announced details of the project, including its location, scale, cost or timeline.

He said the current year marks a significant period in the history of the corrections service, particularly in strengthening operational governance. He highlighted the installation of body scanners and baggage scanning machines as major developments aimed at improving prison security.

Zareer also welcomed improvements to salaries and allowances for MCS staff under the current administration, as well as opportunities provided through the government health scheme.
