Dhiraagu has wrapped up the 20th edition of its annual employee futsal tournament, DESCUP 2026. The milestone event brought together over 300 staff members from across the business to compete in a series of highly contested matches.
Marking 20 years since the tournament’s inception, this year’s competition featured 19 teams across three distinct leagues. In the CEO & MD’s Cup, CNFC claimed the title before going on to secure the Premier League trophy by defeating DSS United in a hard-fought final. Meanwhile, EOC United captured the Super League championship after overcoming Finanzes in their final fixture. The tournament also showcased female workplace participation in the Women’s Fiesta, where Finanzes took top honours following a victory over ROC Stars in the final match.
Organised through the Dhiraagu eClub, the annual tournament forms a central component of the firm’s broader internal employee engagement strategy. The initiative provides staff with regular opportunities to participate in recreational, social, and sporting activities outside of their daily operational responsibilities.
The company highlighted that the competition continues to serve as an important platform for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and a collaborative corporate culture across its workforce.
