Male’ City Schools Celebrating Teacher’s Day 2026

Every year on 5th October, the Maldives joins the global community in celebrating Teachers’ Day, honoring the vital role educators play in shaping the nation’s future.

In a country spanning hundreds of islands, teachers are the backbone of community development, nurturing young minds from remote atolls to the bustling capital of Malé.

Schools across the archipelago host vibrant celebrations organized by students, parents, and management.

Classrooms are decorated, and special assemblies feature student performances, heartfelt speeches, poetry recitations, and award presentations.
