NCA Announces 2nd International Women’s Theatre Festival Participation Opportunity

The National Centre for the Arts (NCA) in the Maldives announced the opportunity to participate in the 2nd International Women Playwrights Theatre Festival, scheduled for November 16th to 26th, 2023. The event will be organised by the Turkiye State Theatres.
Only a maximum of twenty participants will be selected for inclusion. The festival organisers will provide food and accommodation for all selected participants.

Participants, however, are expected to independently cover certain expenses, including international airfare, air freight, medical insurance, and other personal allowances.
The NCA encourages interested individuals to submit their application along with supporting materials by September 4th, 2023. Applications should be sent to istwomenplaywrightsfest@gmail.com and copied to info@nca.gov.mv.
