MoHE Announces 2023 Medical Specialisation Scholarship Recipients

The Ministry of Higher Education announced the provisional list of successful recipients of the 2023 Medical Doctors Specialisation Scholarship, yesterday. The announcement, which was shared on the Ministry’s official website, outlines the seven sectors that have been selected for the prestigious grant.

The chosen specialisations for this year include anaesthesiology, gynaecology, paediatric pulmonology, general surgery, internal medicine, spine surgery and paediatrics. These specialised areas highlight the commitment of the government to nurturing medical expertise in fields that are vital for a comprehensive healthcare system.

The scholarship, awarded to seven medical professionals, is part of an ongoing governmental initiative to foster an environment of learning and growth for aspiring doctors.
