Additional 4,000 Housing Units to be Built in Hulhumale’

Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited (FDC) has solidified a partnership with an Indian enterprise to embark on the construction of 4,000 new housing units in Hulhumale’.
The contract for these housing units has been formalised with Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL).
The primary phase of this ambitious undertaking will encompass 2,000 residential units within Hulhumale’. Comprising 1,400 units featuring three bedrooms and 600 units with two bedrooms, this housing development is projected to be finalised within an estimated span of 37 months. The preliminary phase of this comprehensive venture is budgeted at a total cost of $165 million.
Subsequently, the project’s secondary phase is set to mirror the first in scope, with an additional 2,000 housing units slated for construction.
The Managing Director of FDC, Salfiyya Anwar, formally endorsed the agreement in a ceremony held at the principal offices of the Green Life Corporation. Representing KPIL, Sarvjit Singh, affixed his signature to the accord.
Notably, KPIL is presently engaged in the development of a separate tranche of 2,000 housing units for Hulhumale’s second phase.
The collaborative initiative between these prominent entities is poised to significantly contribute to the expansion of residential options in the vibrant locality of Hulhumale’.
