MNDF Extends Scholarships for USAFA 2028 Program

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has revealed its decision to offer scholarships to the public, enabling them to enroll in the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Class of 2028, last Thursday.

Commencing in June 2024, the USAFA courses have garnered attention from potential candidates seeking educational and career advancements.

 MNDF has stated that successful completion of the four-year program will culminate in the awarding of a Bachelor’s Degree, coupled with an officer commission within the Maldivian armed forces.

Prospective applicants are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria, including the completion of A-Level qualifications or their equivalents, maintaining single marital status, and being under 23 years of age before the onset of July 1, 2024.

Additionally, candidates must have undertaken the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing (ACT), as well as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Furthermore, they should be in good mental and physical condition.

Diverse academic avenues await successful applicants, ranging from aeronautical and astronautical engineering, computer science, military strategic studies, and mechanical engineering, to cyber science, biology, legal studies, mathematics, management, operations research, philosophy, system engineering, and meteorology.

MNDF has extended an invitation to all eligible candidates to diligently complete and submit their application forms before the deadline of August 31.
