Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement condemning the Israeli attack on Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent Palestinians.

The statement said the attacks on hospitals and civilian infrastructures, targeting civilians are unacceptable and are in explicit contravention of international humanitarian law.

The statement further read the Government of Maldives reiterates its call on the international community to use all possible measures to stop the inhumane attacks against innocent Palestinians and urge the international community to expediate the opening of humanitarian corridors to facilitate delivery of medicines, food supplies and basic needs to the Gaza Strip.
