Maldivian Telethon Raises Over MVR 12 Million to Aid Gaza

The International Aid Campaign (IAC) and several Maldivian media outlets have effectively concluded a 13-hour telethon, raising a total of MVR 12.5 million for the Palestinian Aid Fund.

The telethon received over MVR 12.5 million and over USD 8,300 in donations. Notably, STO and its subsidiaries contributed MVR 1 million, marking the largest single donation during the event.

The primary objective of this collective effort was to raise awareness about the challenges faced by Palestinians and raise funds to provide assistance.
