Over 15,000 Binveriya and 17,000 Gedhoruveriya Scheme Forms Received

The Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure has disclosed that in excess of 15,000 forms have been received for the Binveriya scheme, while over 17,000 forms have inundated the Gedhoruveriya scheme, as the 3:00 pm deadline today approaches.
According to the Planning Ministry, a total of 15,558 forms have been received for the second phase of the Binveriya scheme as of this morning. Simultaneously, 17,000 applications have received for the Gedhoruveriya scheme, highlighting the growing demand for housing solutions.
These government initiatives, aimed at addressing housing needs and providing plots for eligible individuals, have garnered significant interest since they were opened on September 24.
Planning Ministry has allocated 4,000 plots and 6,000 flats for the second phase, underlining the government’s commitment to addressing housing shortages. Eligibility for the landlord scheme is open to Male’ city residents who have resided within the city for a minimum of 20 years, with the option for joint applications.
Applicants are encouraged to utilise the Gedhoruverin portal for a streamlined submission process.
