Maldives Donates Two Million Cans of Tuna to Palestine

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih announced yesterday that the government of the Maldives would donate in-kind assistance of two million cans of tuna to the people of Palestine.
President @ibusolih has decided to send 2 million cans of tuna to our brothers and sisters in Palestine, in response to the grave need for humanitarian support at this time of crisis.

This donation aims to support the ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian and relief aid to those affected by the ongoing conflict between Palestine and Israel.
Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid stated “this donation is a symbol of our deepest solidarity with the people of Palestine.”
He further stated “the Government and the people of Maldives will always stand with the people of Palestine, in their struggle to achieve self-determination and lasting peace.”
