Institutions Identified for Special Audits, Says Firuzul

The spokesperson for President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Mohamed Firuzul, has revealed that specific institutions will undergo special audits as part of the transitional phase.
These audits will be conducted by the Auditor General’s Office to ensure transparency and accountability.

Firuzul made this announcement during a press conference held to discuss the progress of the transitional phase. He emphasised the importance of these audits, which will encompass a thorough examination of the financial status, workforce, and administrative details of the concerned establishments.
The interim committees, which commenced their activities on the 4th of this month, have already made substantial headway. Over the course of 21 days, they have visited 77 government institutions and companies, uncovering various issues in the process.
Firuzul stressed that these transitional committees are diligently working to gain an understanding of the current situation.
