MRC Extends Donations Period for MRC Palestine Relief Fund

The Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) has announced an extension of the donation period for the MRC Palestine Relief Fund until the 12th of November.
The decision to prolong the donation period until the 12th of November 2023 comes as a response to the increasing public appeal for assistance in the region.

All donations received to MRC’s Palestine Relief fund will be directed towards @PalestineRCS emergency appeal.

On 28th October 2023, MRC will begin the process of transferring the collected funds to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS). These funds will be directed to the Preliminary Emergency Appeal launched by PRCS on the 10th of October 2023.
The appeal’s primary focus is to provide essential humanitarian assistance, including health services, fuel, and necessary supplies to support the operation of humanitarian facilities. Additionally, the funds will aid in the transportation of the sick and wounded, the provision of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services, as well as shelter and basic relief items, such as food, clothing, and household essentials.
MRC urges the Maldivian community to continue their support for the MRC’s Palestine Relief Fund. By doing so, they will contribute to the dedicated efforts of the PRCS, who are tirelessly working on the front lines to alleviate the suffering in the region.
