AG Office Calls Upon CSOs to Contribute to Report on Torture Convention

The Attorney General’s Office has issued a call to all Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to actively participate by sharing their input for the Second Periodic Report under the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
This initiative invites CSOs to play a role in the ongoing efforts to address issues related to torture and inhumane treatment.

Registration deadline: 6th November, 5pm.

The Attorney General’s Office is seeking insights and contributions from these organisations to strengthen their report on this crucial matter.
The deadline for registration has been set for the 6th of November at 5 pm. CSOs are encouraged to register and submit their input to ensure their voices are included in this vital report.
The Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment is an international treaty aimed at preventing and prohibiting torture and other forms of ill-treatment.
