Laamu Atoll Witnesses Highest Number of Farmers

The Maldives Bureau of Statistics data from 2022 highlighted that Laamu Atoll housed the highest number of farmers in the Maldives, with 1,713 individuals registered in farming activities.

A detailed breakdown of the figures from that year shows that the total count of farmers increased to 7,613 individuals, marking a leap from the 7,568 farmers reported in 2018.
