MDA Announces Participation in PPM-PNC Primaries for Parliamentary Election

The Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) has revealed its intention to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections by contesting the primaries of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) and People’s National Congress (PNC) coalition.

This decision follows the coalition’s resolution to extend the opportunity to its partners, including MDA and the Maldives National Party (MNP), to engage in the primaries.

In an official statement released on Thursday, MDA outlined the eligibility criteria for its potential candidates.

Prospective candidates interested in representing MDA are urged to submit their completed candidacy forms and relevant documents by email by 02:00 pm on Monday.

MDA has made the candidacy form and agreement available at its headquarters from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm.
