Investigation Launched into Alleged Teen Assault at Hulhumale

Contrary to initial reports, the police have not received any formal complaint about a child being assaulted in Hulhumale’ yesterday, according to an official statement released today. However, the law enforcement agency is actively looking into the matter to ascertain whether such an incident did indeed occur.
“The area in question has been thoroughly searched, and individuals in the vicinity have been interviewed to determine if anyone witnessed or possesses information about the alleged incident,” the police statement affirmed.
In their efforts to gather evidence, the police are checking with hospitals and clinics to verify if anyone has sought medical treatment related to the reported assault. Additionally, the examination of available CCTV footage in the area is underway to establish the veracity of the claims.
Authorities encourage anyone with pertinent information regarding the incident to contact the police, underscoring the importance of community cooperation in resolving the matter.
