Ibrahim Hilmy Appointed Vice Chief of Defense

Brigadier General Ibrahim Hilmy has assumed the position of Vice Chief of the Defense Force in the Maldives.

The announcement was made by the Maldivian President and Commander-in-Chief, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, today.

This strategic appointment follows the recent promotion of the former Vice Chief of Defense, Lieutenant General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef, who now serves as the Chief of Defense Force after his appointment last month.
