HPA to Conduct Inspection of Male’ Area Food Establishments

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced its readiness to initiate an inspection of food establishments in the Male’ area.

In a statement released yesterday, the HPA outlined that the primary objective of the impending inspection is to reinforce adherence to hygiene standards among these establishments, thereby ensuring the provision of safe services to the public.

This forthcoming inspection aligns with previous initiatives undertaken by the agency and is particularly timely, traditionally preceding the onset of Ramadan.

Scheduled to commence on Sunday, the mass inspection is a collaborative effort involving Male’ City Council, Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Hulhumale’ Hospital, and other pertinent authorities.
