City Council Initiates Bidding Process for Cat Shelter Construction
The Male’ City Council has commenced the process of soliciting bids for the construction of a cat shelter on Farukolhufushi. Interested parties are invited to submit their bids, with applications now open for eligible contractors.
To provide further details and guidance, the City Council has scheduled an information session to be held on Tuesday at 11AM, located in the Council’s meeting room within its administrative section. Moreover, submission of bids will also take place during this time.
It is emphasised by the City Council that attendance at the information session is mandatory for all potential bidders. Additionally, bids must be submitted within the specified timeframe to be considered.
Furthermore, only bids from Maldivian companies and partnerships, as well as those with local investments and valid business permits, will be accepted.
Mayor Adam Azim had previously highlighted the need for a vet clinic with essential services as part of the cat shelter initiative, aiming to address the challenges posed by the increasing cat population in Male’.
