Bangladesh High Commission Hosts Blood Donation Camp in Male’

The High Commission of Bangladesh in Maldives organized a blood donation camp on 24th January 2025 at the Thalasemia Centre Male’.

The event was organized in connection with the Festival of Youth 2025, month long festival taking place in Bangladesh. Total 50 bags of blood were collected during the event. Bangladeshi expatriates voluntarily participated in this humanitarian event.

Acting High Commissioner Sohel Parvez visited the blood donation camp and donated blood in the event. He thanked Maldivian Blood Services for collaborating with the High Commission in such a noble event. He expects that this type of event will certainly enhance the people to people contact between the two friendly countries.

The Acting High Commissioner handed over certificates to the donors in the event.
