BML Digital Banking Apps Experience Downtime Again

The Bank of Maldives (BML) is facing issues again with its digital banking services, causing frustration among its customers.
In a statement posted on social media, the bank attributed the disruption to a technical issue affecting both its Mobile App and Internet Banking services.
The announcement was made at 07:51 this morning, but several users have reported that the apps have been inaccessible since earlier today.

BML has assured customers that it is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
This marks the second time in a week that BML’s mobile banking services have been disrupted. A similar issue occurred on 1 August when a human error during payment processing led to some accounts being mistakenly credited with large sums of money.
We are facing interruptions to POS, ATM, Internet and Mobile Banking services due to a technical issue.
Customers using BML credit and prepaid cards, as well as those using cards issued by other banks, can continue to use our POS network.
