BML Named Exclusive Banking Partner for Maldives Half Marathon 2026

Bank of Maldives has signed on as the exclusive banking partner for the Maldives Half Marathon 2026, which is expected to bring together more than 2,000 participants in Hulhumalé next month.

Organised by iRunners, the event will take place at Hulhumalé Synthetic Track on 14 August. The programme includes the Half Marathon, 15K, 10K, 5K Fun Run, 5K Wheelchair Race, Kids Mile and Family Run, with eight categories in total.

A three-day marathon expo will also be held at the Hulhumalé Running Track from 11 to 13 August ahead of the race day.

The event will support Save the Beach NGO through its Protect the Reef Campaign, with donations raised from participant registrations directed towards the initiative.
