Cancer Society Announces Cancer Awareness and Screening Programme in Thaa Atoll

The Cancer Society of Maldives has announced a Cancer Awareness and Screening Programme to be held in Thaa Atoll.

The initiative will take place from 21st to 24th August 2024, covering the islands of Veymandoo, Hirilandhoo, Kinbidhoo, Omadhoo, Vandhoo, and Kandoodhoo.

• Kandoodhoo – 21st August, 16:30 to 18:30 hrs
• Veymandoo – 21st August, 20:30 to 22:30 hrs
• Kinbidhoo – 22nd August, 08:00 to 10:00 hrs
• Omadhoo – 22nd August, 10:30 to 12:30 hrs
• Hirilandhoo – 22nd August, 14:00 to 15:30 hrs
• Vandhoo – 22nd August, 16:00 to 18:00 hrs

Residents of the aforementioned islands are encouraged to participate and make use of this opportunity to better understand cancer-related health risks and undergo screening.
