Car Driver Arrested and Remanded in Custody After Collision with Motorcycles in Hulhumale’

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and remanded in custody for seven days following a collision between the car and two motorcycles near Central Park in Hulhumale’, last Monday. 

The incident resulted in two individuals sustaining injuries, prompting their immediate transport to the hospital. Medical personnel reported yesterday that the individual currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is in critical condition.

According to the police, the collision transpired when the car lost control and collided with the bicycles. The four individuals involved were riding on two motorcycles at the time of the incident. 

The car reportedly veered into the lane of oncoming traffic on the opposite side of the road.
