Crocodile Found in Lhaviyani Atoll Handed Over to MNDF
A crocodile discovered on an uninhabited island in Lhaviyani Atoll has been handed over to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Northern Area Command.
The reptile, measuring approximately five feet in length, was found around 07:00 a.m, this morning, on Lh. Dhidhdhoo by a group who had travelled to the island by dinghy. The group captured the crocodile and transported it to Lh. Naifaru.

Following the report, MNDF Coast Guard First Squadron personnel travelled to Naifaru by harbor craft and subsequently transferred the crocodile to Lh. Maafilaafushi.
