CSM to Conduct Cancer Awareness Sessions and Screenings in Shaviyani Atoll
The Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) is set to launch a Cancer Awareness and Screening program in the Shaviyani Atoll from June 14th to June 17th.
As part of this initiative, CSM will be conducting awareness sessions in the islands of Funadhoo, Milandhoo, Feevah, Narudhoo, Maa’ungoodhoo, and Lhaimagu on the 14th and 15th of June.

The primary focus of the screening program will be to provide screenings for Breast, Oral, Cervical, Colorectal, and Prostate cancer. By offering these screenings, CSM aims to detect any potential cancer cases at an early stage, enabling timely intervention and treatment.
The Cancer Awareness and Screening program is a crucial endeavor by CSM to raise awareness about cancer and its prevention measures among the communities residing in the Shaviyani Atoll. Through informative sessions, CSM intends to educate the public about the importance of regular screenings, early detection, and adopting a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of cancer.
