1. Fiyavathi

2. Amaan Veshi & Amaan Hiyaa

These shelters operate under the Family and Children’s Service Centres of the Ministry of Social and  Family Development, with Fiyavathi catering to children in the Greater Malé region and Amaan Veshi &  Amaan Hiyaa supporting children across the Maldives.

Customers can choose from preset amounts (MVR 10, MVR 50, MVR 100, MVR 500) and conveniently make donations via the DhiraaguApp. Prepaid customers can utilise their remaining prepaid balance to make donations.

The Family and Children’s Service Centres have identified key programmes that will be supported based  on contributions received:

1. Enhancing study rooms – Creating quiet and comfortable spaces with digital and learning tools.

2. Installing turf in play areas – Improving recreational facilities for children.

3. Skill development programmes – Providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.

4. Job readiness programme for youth (16+ years old)

“Inclusion remains a key pillar of Dhiraagu’s CSR programme. Dhiraagu continues to support children under state care by providing Dhiraagu High-Speed Internet to all Amaan Veshi and Amaan Hiyaa shelters across the nation, helping to meet the educational needs of children,” Dhiraagu said.

“With Ramadan being a time of giving and compassion, supporting children residing in shelters who are separated from their families makes the Donate On DhiraaguApp initiative especially timely and meaningful,  fostering care and connection during the holy month,” Dhiraagu said in their statement.
