Dhiraagu has successfully raised MVR 230,380 through its “Donate on DhiraaguApp” campaign, aimed at supporting children under state care. The company presented the contribution to the Minister of Social and Family Development, Dr Aishath Shiham, in a formal handover by CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed.

Launched as a special feature during the holy month, the “Donate on DhiraaguApp” initiative allowed customers to easily contribute to three state care homes: Fiyavathi in the Greater Malé Region, and Amaan Veshi and Amaan Hiyaa, which serve children across the country.

The funds will support key programmes identified by the Ministry to enhance the well-being and development of children in state care. These efforts align with Dhiraagu’s continued commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact on children’s lives throughout the Maldives.

In line with its CSR pillar of inclusion, Dhiraagu has consistently supported state care facilities, including nationwide provision of high-speed broadband internet to all Amaan Veshi and Amaan Hiyaa homes. This connectivity ensures children in care have improved access to digital literacy and educational opportunities.
