To facilitate the registration process, individuals intending to utilise the voting template are urged to register by dialling 1414 before the specified deadline.
The 1414 service operates from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on public holidays, and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays.
Furthermore, ECM has outlined plans to conduct training sessions across all islands of the Maldives for those interested in utilising the voting template. These training sessions are scheduled to take place between February 26 and March 6, 2024.
The extension of the registration deadline and provision of training aim to ensure inclusivity and enable individuals with visual impairments to exercise their voting rights effectively.
