The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has announced that it will offer online services during the last ten days of Ramadan, which have been declared a public holiday.
Following the Ramadan and Fitr Eid holidays, government offices will reopen on April 6. As of today, government offices will be closed.
In an effort to ensure uninterrupted service during the holiday period, the ministry stated that applications submitted through OneGov and the Business Portal will be processed. Services will be available from 9:30am to 11:30am daily, excluding weekends. However, if the number of applications increases during this period, the ministry noted that processing times may be adjusted.
For queries related to business registration, assistance can be accessed via the OneGov live chat or by calling the 1500 shortcode. Foreign investment services can be accessed by submitting applications to fiu@trade.gov.mv. Additional information regarding these services can be obtained by calling 3333182 between 9:30am and 11:30am, excluding weekends.
The ministry will also arrange online meetings when necessary to assist further.
