Edelweiss Air Increases Flights to Maldives for Summer Season

Switzerland’s Edelweiss Air, has announced an increase in its flight operations to the Maldives to meet heightened demand during the upcoming summer season.
In addition to its existing scheduled services, the airline will operate two additional weekly flights between 4 July and 13 September 2026. These flights will run every Wednesday and Saturday, further strengthening connectivity between Switzerland and the Maldives during the peak travel period.
With this expansion, Edelweiss Air will operate a total of 21 additional flights to the Maldives over the summer season, providing greater flexibility and convenience for travelers.
Edelweiss Air is the third-largest airline in Switzerland and has maintained a long-standing presence in the Maldivian market. The airline commenced operations to the Maldives on 4 November 2000, marking over two decades of continuous service. In 2025, the airline celebrated the 25th anniversary of its operations to the destination.
