Education Ministry Directs Schools to Conduct Grade 10 Term Exams Before Ramadan

The Ministry of Education has issued a directive to all schools, instructing them to administer the second term examinations for Grade 10 students prior to the onset of Ramadan.

In a circular dispatched to all educational institutions on Thursday, the Director General of the Education Ministry, Ibrahim Asif Rasheed, outlined that schools had formally requested the ministry’s approval to conduct the Grade 10 second term exams before the commencement of Ramadan.

Responding to these requests, the Ministry has agreed to schedule the second term tests to take place between February 25 and March 14 of the upcoming year.

It’s noteworthy that Ramadan is slated to commence on March 10 next year.

Grade 10 students traditionally undertake their O Level exams during the months of May and June.
