Recognising the increasing challenges faced in providing students with their certificates for the annual international and national secondary and higher secondary examinations, the Ministry of Education has acted swiftly to address the issue. Students have experienced delays, damage, and even loss of certificates, prompting the need for a reliable and efficient delivery system.
In response to these concerns, the Ministry of Education has entered into an agreement with the Maldives Post, aimed at guaranteeing the safe and timely delivery of students’ certificates to centers across the country. This partnership particularly focuses on certificates of students participating in examinations planned and administered by the Department of Public Examinations.
Under this new arrangement, once the certificates are dispatched via the post office to the provincial centers, the Department of Public Examinations will be able to hand them over to the respective centers within a maximum time frame of 20 days. Consequently, students can expect to receive their certificates in the near future.
This collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the Maldives Post signifies a crucial step forward in ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of students’ certificates. By streamlining the process and eliminating the various challenges faced in recent times, the Ministry aims to alleviate the concerns of students and facilitate their access to important documentation.
