Fight Breaks Out at Malé Café, Leaving One Injured

A fight broke out at a café in the Maafannu district of Malé City yesterday, resulting in at least one injury.

According to the Maldives Police Service, the altercation occurred at a café located on Shaheed Ali Goalhi. Authorities confirmed the incident has been reported, and investigations are currently ongoing.

A 44-year-old local man sustained injuries during the altercation and was subsequently taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

The police have stated that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. This marks the latest in a series of assaults reported in the Malé area.
