Fire Destroys Residence in Male’ Late Night Blaze

A raging fire broke out at a residence in Malé late last night, causing extensive damage to the property.

The fire occurred at MA. City Villa. The Maldives National Defence Force stated that no injuries were reported in the incident. However, the house has been damaged beyond use following the blaze.

Authorities received the fire report at around 3am. Firefighters from MNDF worked to control and extinguish the fire, successfully bringing the blaze under control by 4:12am.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and investigations are expected to continue.
