First Lady Officiates Chimes Preschool’s Graduation Ceremony

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed officiated Chimes Preschool’s graduation ceremony for the class of 2023-2024, yesterday.
The ceremony took place at the Islamic Centre’s conference hall.
In her remarks at the ceremony, the First Lady encouraged pupils to heed their parents’ and teachers’ advice and strive to study well. She then guided pupils to limit their screen time.
Addressing the parents, the First Lady stressed the importance of spending quality time with children and encouraged parents to spend more time with them. She additionally urged parents to ensure their children are raised to appreciate Islamic values and instil a love for the Holy Quran.
The First Lady then equated teachers with parents, appreciated their efforts in guiding students throughout their schooling, and thanked them.
During the ceremony, the First Lady presented graduation scrolls to twenty-three pupils. The pupils from Chimes Preschool presented the First Lady with a drawing.
Presently, 117 students are enrolled at Chimes Preschool.
