The chair of the foreign observer team spoke to local media, stating that they monitored the elections by dividing the team into four groups.

The observer team chair also highlighted the peaceful proceedings observed at all polling stations from start to finish, noting the provision of fans for voters in waiting areas.

Moreover, the majority of observers praised the use of technological equipment during the voting process. Nelson Sallis, the election monitor from the Philippines, highlighted that voters’ details could be promptly accessed using the tablets used by officials, facilitating faster ballot casting.

The monitors unanimously noted the absence of any notable confrontations or disturbances at the polling stations during the election and commended the Elections Commission for its management.
