Dhiraagu has launched a complementary router replacement initiative targeting its residential fibre broadband subscribers across the Maldives. The offer, introduced as part of the company’s 38th-anniversary celebrations, allows eligible households to swap older hardware for updated models at no extra cost.
According to Dhiraagu’s press release, the scheme applies to residential customers on fibre packages offering speeds of 30Mbps or higher, including subscribers on Dhiraagu’s Limitehneh tiers, who currently rely on legacy fibre routers. Eligible users have until 31 October 2026 to request their device replacement.
Customers seeking the replacement can lodge an application directly via the dedicated banner in the Dhiraagu mobile app. Dhiraagu will handle the installation and configuration of the replacement hardware to ensure minimal disruption for subscribers.
The company further adds that subscribers on lower-speed tiers using older hardware can gain eligibility for the promotion by upgrading their current plan to a qualifying tier of 30Mbps or above.
Dhiraagu also stated that the initiative aims to improve home connectivity standards and deliver better value across Maldivian households.
